Small Body in the future

The CEO 7 and the Iris OG are both on my list of next in line. Seriously thinking about selling my HD28 for a smaller guitar. I've heard nothing but good things about both of these guitars. Just nowhere to A-B them.

Art and Lutherie Roadhouse parlor body guitars are nice i just bought one in faded black with a pearloid pickguard . Made 100% in Canada and only 699.00 ....tried a few and settled on this one . It's light and beautiful , it plays well sounds lovely and very comfortable . It has a fishman presys system in it that sounds great too ....I wouldve bought the Godin Rialto parlor but the finish options left me a little cold .....goofy colors awful looking logo on the headstock and high gloss finishes were not my cup of tea. Art and Lutherie are a godin company as are seagull and a few other brands so you know it's a quality instrument and frankly i really hate Asian built guitars and try to buy made in north america instruments when i can ........im happy

Can you let us know what the scale length is and the string spacing at the saddle please?
Seemingly, this is classified information as I couldn't find it anywhere inc. A&L's website. The ratios of the tuners and number of frets is readily offered up, for some reason....

I love what Martin does with 00s, both 18 and 28 style. If you want to go even smaller, then you can’t get much better than a Collings 0 in my book

Several good choices in the "family" if you aren't concerned about the permanently epoxied neck joint.

I'm relatively new (two weeks) to AGF. After a 55-year hiatus I took up the guitar, again, in 2020. My journey to the two acoustics I currently own took me through a veritable harem, including a Yamaha and nine Martins (000JR, 000-16 Streetmaster, 00-18, 000-18, 000-15M, 000-15SM, OM Cherry, CEO-7, and an 000-28EC).

I thought I had my keepers in the CEO-7 and 000-28EC until last November, when I strummed a just-delivered Bourgeois 00 at Northern Lights. I traded the practically new 000-28EC towards it, keeping the mahogany-bodied CEO-7 to accompany the IRW-bodied 00. To me, their size and feel, and uniquely different tones/sounds, made for perfect partners until ...

... I visited a local shop a few weeks ago to pick up some strings, and a Bourgeois 0 (a 10-year-old custom build with Bearclaw Italian and Madagascar RW, Varnish-finished guitar in mint condition) caught my eye. When I picked it up it felt even that much more comfortable to me than the 00. I quickly sold my CE0-7 and bought the 0.

In what has been an expensive joyride spread over four years, I discovered the smaller-bodied 0's and 00's feel best in my aging hands.

Another vote for 00 Martins, 18 or 28. I have one of each, the 18 is a 12 fret. They are both staying with me.
