Default NGD Larrivee OM03R

Managed to get a good deal on a used local Larrivee OM-03R so bought it at the weekend. It’s a 2008 model but in good condition.

I love OM sized guitars but this one strums better than any I’ve had and fingerpicks brilliantly. I know it’s early days but this is probably the best guitar I’ve owned.

I once owned an L02 which was a great guitar but wasn’t getting played a lot. Looking back it was probably just my preference for a slightly smaller guitar.

I’ve had really good guitars from Martin, Gibson, Auden but this one suits me the best I think.

Happy new guitar day!! I love Larrivee guitars. Very balanced tone, well built, and inspiring guitars.

My first Larrivee was an LV-03e that I still own. I went through several Taylors to eventually land on it. I bet your 03r is great. I owned an OM-09 a few years back and I loved it. Now I'm looking for an 00-40 or something like it.

Enjoy your new guitar in good health!

Congrats, enjoy that OM-03R forever.

I have several Larrivée's myself, each of them brings a smile to my face, when played.

Congratulations! It looks like you got a nice one. I'm still kicking myself for not buying one I spotted on Craigslist a while back. These are nice guitars. Enjoy playing.

Best,

Mac

Congrats! Been a Martin guy all my life until recently purchased om40r. It's the nicest playing and sounding guitar I've played. Still love Martin, but my Larrivee is now #1.

That is a very special guitar. I visited the l’arrivée factory that year. Maybe I saw your guitar being built! Anyway, congratulations. Play it forever.
