Sorry to desagree, but that's a Martin 00-18. Elizabeth Cotten was also known to play a D-18, a 000-18 and a J-45. So, lots of mahogany, but spruce tops.
Regarding bluesmen playing all-mahogany guitars, I think Dave "Honeyboy" Edwards used to play a 00-17, and Charley Patton played a Stromberg-Voisinet that was all mahogany. But it's true, it's not as common as it is said.

Colter Wall who's been mentioned, and Reina Del Cid, she plays a Martin 00-15m.
Edit, Hmm, how do I share a YouTube video? I copied the link, then put it in between the YouTube icons that appear when I clicked the YouTube thing |

I always think of Lightning Hopkins and Mance Lipscomb both of whom played a Harmony H165. Those are some pretty good references in anybody's book.
I also play a Harmony H165 although mine is quite a bit older than most dating to 1942.

I’ve been listening to Anais Mitchell a lot. Can somebody help me out? In the first couple of songs here, what tuning is she using?

Not sure if it’s the same tuning, but she says this is her favourite one. Really glad you’re enjoying her, she’s so unique. The real deal. |

I thought it was open D but the half step down threw me off! |
