Whew!!! It turns out the the bridge pin holes have not been modified to fit the unusual straight/non-tapered bridge pins that were on it after all. Yesterday I discovered the holes are actually drilled with a 3 degree taper and nicely takes a pin with a .203” diameter just below the collar. I was thrown off by the straight shaft on the pins that someone replaced the original ones with at some point because they seemed to fit properly. My options have thankfully opened up now and I gained some interesting guitar knowledge as well. This is a good example of why I’m glad to be part of AGF. Happy camper in East Tennessee!
