Default info needed on OM guitars

I'm looking for a 14 fret full scale OM or small jumbo style guitar (sitke/mahogany) to complement my 1980's Guild hog dread (strummer) 000-28 (FP) and my Lakewood big Jumbo (hog).
My budget is around 1000 euro/$ (getting closer to one another now).

I'm a bit more into Gibson/ Guild type of guitars in general but do like my 00028 Martin clone, so could go into the standard OM Martin style. Many options there i guess. Not interested in Taylors.
I'm eyeing up a Guild Westerly om140 at the moment (sitka/sapele). I've read some good news about the new batch of Guilds since i'd gone off them right after the changeover and played some truely horrific ones.
Also, i very much like the look of a small jumbo ( i already have a big one).

Any suggestions?

Check out Furch - not sure of prices just now and you probably should look at used but their OM modems are sublime! If buying new you can choose neck profile and nut width and even used you should be able to find the right one to suit your needs and to complement what you already have.

Build quality is superb and playability is very nice. I've played (and owned) OM models and have tried their GA styles too.

I'll throw out the Larrivee OM-03 (or OM-40, OM-05 if you want to go higher) if you're liking the mahogany b/s. The one's I've played tend to split the difference between Martin and Taylor, perhaps falling more so to the Martin-side. In other words, they don't really sound similar to either IMO. OM-03's can be gotten used for the $600-$800 range (US), based on last eBay check.

Yes, Both Furch and BSG eastern european guitar makers appeal to me.
I live in Europe so that would be an obvious choice..

Eastman makes some very nice OM models in rosewood or mahogany generally built based on Martin specs.

The top-of-the-line models are street priced at +/- $1,000 USD

There are currently several in stock at Soundpure in Durham, NC:

The best one by far that I've played was a Santa Cruz OM. I couldn't believe such a huge sound came from that small body.

I have a Larrivee OM-03 Custom; Peruvian Walnut back and sides and Cedar top. The tone is phenomenal. To me it blows away the Martin OM's and 000's I have played. Very comfortable neck. You can get almost any wood combination you like in this model.

The only guitar I've ever regretted selling was a Larrivee OM-03 in Walnut/sitka. Stupid, stupid....

There's a used Larrivee OM-02 over at Elderly Instruments right now. $750.00 with a nice hardshell case. Its an older one with a nicely tanned sitka top with a smattering of bearclaw...nice.

I was tempted but I have to pull in my horns for a while...

Furch. The OM 32 SM fits your specs, except the price, maybe, around 1500 e in Europe. Great guitar.

In which case you are severely limiting your chances of securing a bargain.

A Taylor Grand Concert might fit the bill.

In Europe you cannot find a better guitar than a Furch at
the same price IMO. You have to pay a lot more for the same level in american Brands.
Larrivees and eastmans are good guitars in your price range also
