Really!! I'm with ^^^^^ on this. Very nice guitar, good price, but you would think they would warranty it, just for good PR. It really does not cost them anything, right??

I don't know; policy maybe? I'm sure that if you were to buy a trade in from a dealer who took in in trade it wouldn't have the Taylor warranty. I imagine this has to do with the legality of calling a guitar that had been 'around the country' NEW & selling it as such...

I've bought "factory used" before too. They can be roadshow, ones that hung in the taylor lobby, etc. Congrats on picking that up from Alto. I was one mouse click away from buying it myself last weekend. Ps... If you ever see their listings on reverb, also check their website. That guitar was actually part of their memorial day Sale and the 10% off discount applied. I had it in my cart at around $2,790 with free shipping and 6 months alto music warranty that matches terms of taylor warranty. Anyway, congrats...and thanks for buying it so I'm no longer tempted. I'm trying hard to degasify!
