For Sale: 2017 Bourgeois DS Country Boy 12-fret (sold)

2017 Bourgeois DS Country Boy 12-fret

This guitar is in great condition, always kept in it's hard case when not in use and always properly humidified. No cracks, but a few small nicks (shown in the photos). Nothing structural. In the cowboy chord area, some of the neck finish is a little worn. Sounds huge with 12-frets to the body, and very well-defined bass. A lovely warm tone, very responsive for fingerpicking, but also handles digging in with a pick very well. I'm the 2nd owner.

Key specs are:

• "Age-Toned" Sitka Spruce Top
• Mahongy back & sides
• 1 23/32" nut width
• long scale (25.5")

Asking SOLD, plus actual shipping costs and any digital payment fees. The original TKL hard case is included. The guitar is currently strung with DR Sunbeams (Mediums, 13-56). I'll throw in one additional unopened pack of the same strings.

I'm in the Greater Boston area, will to drive reasonable distances (a couple of hours) to meet halfway.

Thanks SongWriter. Indeed, this is a fabulous guitar and I'll be sorry to see it go. But with one kid in college now and a 2nd next year, I'm only selling this wonderful guitar for financial reasons. I'm sure that whoever buys it will love it!

Bumping up for Thursday. This guitar looks familiar! I ordered one with these exact specs in summer 2017 and was floored when I first saw the back. GLWS!

I sold my Bourgeois DS260 last year…probably shouldn’t have done that! I have no doubt that this DS Country Boy is a stellar instrument! Dana’s dreads seem to me to sound more balanced than other builds…and sooo sweet. Someone will be very happy! Good luck with the sale.

if you're having regrets about selling your Bourgeois DS260, this is your chance to replace it with another Bourgeois 12-fret slope-shoulder dread!
