The instructions for the humidipaks explicitly say not to have another humidification system into the guitar case.

I agree. I see these "wet sponge people" on here all the time who think that wet sponges will regulate high humidity levels. DUH.

Appreciate reading this and I could not agree more. A dollar saved is important to everybody, but if I stop by the local shop I invariably end up meeting the coolest people and learning something new nearly every time. I will pay a buck or two more on a set of strings for that. I've had some of the best laughs and really good handshakes over the past two years in my local guitar shop. I am happy to know if I get in a guitar bind requiring parts, knowledge or just friendly advice, I have a friend in business a few miles away who can help me out!
