Congrats! Looks like you got a tremendous deal for an absolute classic!

You asked what strings we play...I use John Pearse Phosphor Bronze lights on both my J45 and Taylor 324.

I'm addicted to these strings.

On a side note, if the strings that are on them right now are mediums...if you move down to lights you might need to get the action adjusted. Just fyi.

I imagine any brand of nickel strings would do!
