Default New Pickguard from Holter

Taylor Mullins of Holter Pickguard was highly recommended on the forum so I contacted him for a new pickguard on my J-50. I want to give him a shout out here.

Using my old guard as a template, he cut this new one. This one is thicker and beveled. I really like it. I had one shot to get it centered. I think I did OK.

With that out of the way, time to go put in my practice in for the night.

Same shape as this one I put on my Huss & Dalton MJ Custom.

Only kidding everyone, it's just sitting there for the picture.
I posted this on the H&D forum and the silence was deafening!
Eventually I admitted it was just a joke and I could almost hear them collectively exhale.

Beautiful guard there RR....

Taylor does great work.
Had him make a 30's style guard for my 30's style 00-42.

Great communication and easy to work with!

I love it.

Makes me want to ask him to use your template and make me a new one for my 2012 j50.

Good look.

I'm ordering one of his darker celluloids to replace the flubber guard on my '16 J-45.
I have his guards on several other guitars as well. Really admire his work.
