Martin Bracing Question: Adirondack scalloped 1/4" bracing = GE bracing?

One of the guys on the UMGF who has a J-40 and a GJ-35, that they made for a short time said ''If a J-40 I like playing in a bathtub, the GJ-35 is like playing in a swimming pool''

I'm looking forward to to hearing if he id right!
