Concert size $400-$500?

What do you guys think is good in that range? I'm thinking maybe Alvarez or Recording King. Anything else that should be on my radar?

There is an Eastman AC508 Grand Concert for sale here in that range. Mahogany & Englemann, ebony fretboard and saddle, slot head...awesome guitar! I know because I own one and it is probably the best deal on the classifieds this week. Just a PSA, no affiliation.

PS - I've owned 5 Recording Kings (still have 2) and have played a few Alvarez, and they don't touch this model of Eastman.

I'm an Alvarez guy.
I love the darn things.
But if you can lay hands on an Eastman in your price range...get it.
They are phenomenal.

So much so, that I only play the models I'm interested in when I'm in the local dealers shop. Otherwise, I'd be scheming to get them all...

I went with an Alvarez AF60. Got one for a great price, well under $250, new. None of the stores around here had any guitars that size to try. Hopefully, it will be noticeably smaller than my dread.

Another vote for the Yamaha LS6.....but you can save a few bux going with the Yamaha FS720...same guitar IMO, just a little less bling...$300 new.

Depends on what one means by "concert" size.

One of the Korean built Breedlove Passport Concerts would be at the top of my list.
