Conrad 1964? model 40150
I have found little about this company and guitar and wondered if anyone can give me your thoughts on what a fair value would be for this acoustic guitar. I also am curious to know if the low serial number adds to any of the value. It is a model 40150 and serial #11. I got it at a garage sale years ago for $25.00. Pics can be seen at this website; Thank you for any info.

I don't know, but I have the same guitar
My wife bought a Conrad classical guitar model 40150 (SN 346) in 1977 used, for $40. We still have it, and over the years it's been on numerous camping trips, and recently used for a recording where I needed a nylon string guitar solo. It still plays very well, sounds great, except that the high E is beginning to buzz at the 12th fret. I've thought about selling it before, but I realized that I would be losing a very playable and decent-sounding guitar for very little money in return.
My advice, just keep it...., as long as it plays well. Great beginner guitar too if anyone in your family or friends want to try playing guitar. For me, this has enough personality history to reflect on when I play it. Enjoy!

They come up pretty regularly for between $50 and $100 generally with a case. You can always take it to a shop near you for an appraisal and leave it on consignment. Or, simply play it to death.
