string opinion

hey all, just wanted an opinion on these strings and wonder if i made the right choice, remember i have no acoustic hearing, also no tone and pitch, so any stings sound the same to me, but im after a nice sound for others to hear, i put them on yamaha FX370c, i got the GHS phosphor bronze 11-50 gauge, the guy at the music store said they nice for me, im just wondering if i should of got a '12' gauge set or maybe a better brand?- any opinion on these strings?
