Default Humidity finally dropped below 60%

Seems like this is the first time since May... maybe earlier that the humidity outside of Boston has finally dropped below 60%.

I let the humidity in one of my cases get out of control once, and having a bear of a time getting it back down even w/ humidity packs. I'm ready for some winter dryness,

I'm across the (Ohio) river from Paducah Ky. Last night the dew point hit 81 degrees, and I think it was a record, or near it.

8:35 a.m this morning the dew point is 77 / humidity is 88% and the temp is 81 making a heat index of 89.

At 8:35 a.m.

Here in Phoenix Hilary cooled us down to 90f temps and brought the humidity up to the 50% range. My guitars have been out of their cases for a few days. It is Mahvelous!

Be back over 110 and bone dry by the week’s end.

It's going to be hard keeping my guitars in the 50's next couple days outside Chicago. I don't case them but have 2 dehumidifiers running non stop.

Humidity finally dropped below 60%

Here in eastern Massachusetts, the indoor Relative Humidity (no AC) has dropped into the mid-40s this morning.

(happy guitars)

It's oppressive out there right now. I think I saw Bolingbrook had a dewpoint of 85 degrees today. That's insane.

Tales from the other side ... In 10+ years living in a high Colorado valley, our indoor RH has never once reached 60.

Living in NW Louisiana, just 20 miles from Texas, we seldom get below 60% RH. Today it's supposed to be 107° and right now the humidity is 85%. Maybe it will come down to 60% by the time it reaches the high temp for the day.

I haven't checked the humidity in the house lately, need to do that.

Driving to work this morning my SUV was telling me the outside temperature was 80 degs at 6:00 am. Going to be miserable today.

I'm in South Louisiana! The humidity down here does not drop below 60% until January.

We are in the middle of a cold front. The temp today will be a nice brisk 101!
