Question Is this a real Yairi guitar?

The label is not like other Yairi models.
Chinese copy?
"Hand Crafted in Japan by Yairi"

It a real Yairi, Kazao I believe and I think it was made in the late 60's sometime, not positive exactly when it was made.

I also believe it's an all solid wood guitar.

Can you see a model number? It looks like a model 800.

Here's a link that shows a similar label.

How does it play and sound?

Can't see the serial no.
It's very cheap but needs work.
Not sure what kind of work and I don't want to get it just because.

What makes you think it's cheap?? Can you see the model number? Just curious...

If it's a model 800 it all solid wood.

Kazuo Yairi, has an Uncle Sadao Yariri that also makes guitars. It may be one of his.

This link will show you the differences. It does show your label.

Ah I see.
So it is Yairi but Sadao instead of Kazuo.

That's what I think it is...

It might be a pretty decent guitar condition dependent of course.

S. Yairi guitars of that vintage are very good instruments. Could be a really good deal.
