Default NGD - Alvarez MG75CE - Sweet Cedar & Rosewood

Couldn't be happier with this one! The sound is deep & resonant. Warm as expected due to the cedar and plenty of volume to boot.

Fit and finish are pitch perfect...and setup was dead on right out of the box.

Perfect complement to the excellent FYM66HD.

Will work great as a gigging guitar.

Congrats. Always been a fan of the way they do their bridges on these.
Hope it brings you many years of happiness. =)

I really like that. I was not aware Alvarez had a cedar option. That’s very cool.

I love the Yairi too!

Congrats! Alvarez kicks anus!

Couldn't agree more! I've been so impressed with the Yairi since buying it a couple years ago.

congrats on the AY guitars. I've always had a couple of Martins in my collection but for 20 years I played electric almost exclusively. Then, a friend turned me on to the Alvarez Yairi guitars about six months ago. I had heard of them because I remember that Jerry Garcia played one in the '90s before he died. The AY guitars turned my head around. Since then, I've bought four: A DYM60HD, a FYM60HD, a FYM66HD and a FYM70. I can't get enough of that old honduran mahogany.

Some players describe the AY guitars as being a great value "for the price." IMO, these guitars are absolutely fantastic guitars in their own right without even considering the price. I wake up every morning and can't wait to play my AY guitars.

Nice score! I'd strongly considered an Alvarez Artist AG75ce (cedar/rosewood laminate) for my first guitar. I didn't know Alvarez had come out with an all-solid Masterworks with that combination - might have to check it out!

Have fun!

Considering one. How does it feel size-wise compared to playing a dreadnought? I’ve never played a Grand Concert.
