Default 1932 Martin OM-28 / C2 — Adirondack/Brazilian

1932 Martin OM-28 — C2 to OM Conversion with 30's Vintage Archtop Case.

It is with much regret that I am selling this instrument.
For years I searched the world over for a guitar of this tonal pedigree and am now forced to sell due to requiring dental implants. Selling this guitar is like pulling teeth (literally)!
If you wish to own a premium players guitar that truly sounds and performs among the top tier instruments anywhere — this is one of them.

The guitar weighs in at 3 lbs 14 ounces and It sounds absolutely incredible in that it checks so many tonal boxes. Sound-wise this guitar does it all, it's warm, balanced and loud with fat trebles. It does flat picking as well as fingerstyle and has a smooth velvety strumming sound for bottom chords. This is why I will regret selling this.
In 2013 this was once an archtop guitar with a badly cracked carved top, which is what made this a natural contender for an OM conversion.
Mark Stutman of Folkway Music did the conversion. Mark is regarded by many as one of the world's top repair luthiers where he has been entrusted by many to do museum grade repairs on high-value vintage guitars.

In 2022 a K&K mini pick-up was professionally installed with the 1/4" jack located at the endpin. It also has some bear claw figure (not to be confused with defects) but there are several light pick dents to the top which are barely visible. This guitar has been carefully played and looked after with no issues. The original tuners work perfectly, the guitar keeps tune perfectly with excellent sustain.

Default Bump…

It goes like this, the fourth the fifth,
The minor fall, the major lift.
