Taylor 100 Series USA vs Mexico made
Evening,
After recently reading online that the Taylor 100 series used to be made at the Taylor plant in California, does anyone know was there any noticeable difference between the USA vs Mexico made versions, when was the last time they were made in USA? Haven’t ever owned a Taylor, but thinking of getting one. Thank you Last edited by FLGuitar; 09-26-2022 at 05:12 PM. |

I've never played a USA 100-series, but I can say that my 2014 MIM 114 has stuck around a lot longer than some 300 & 400-series Taylors I've had. When push came to shove, there just wasn't (to my ears) an appreciable difference between it and the lower-level USA models.

I haven’t played a USA-100 series either, but have played MIM 114s and they’re really fine. My eldest son owns one. I own a 2018 214ceDLX which I REALLY like.
