Default Price of gibson j35

Does anyone think this price will increase after this year? £1100 seems mighty cheap

The price will inevitably rise. The real question is: by how much?

I can't remember where I read it (quite possibly on this forum), but I understand that the price will remain the same at least through January, 2014.

If history is any indicator, the inevitable increase may be somewhat drastic. I remember the 2007 introductory price of the Gibson ES-339 was $1799, a bargain for a Gibson semi-hollow archtop. When the price rose, it jumped to $2199. Six years later, it now retails for $2599.

My advice: buy your J35 before the year is over!
