One of the best small guitars I've ever played, hands down! This is the third Bourgeois I've owned and I'd say it's the best. Sounds way bigger than it looks! Very balanced, rich tone, of course has the signature Bourgeois balance and articulation. Plenty of fine appointments, bear claw sitka top, hide glue construction, koa body binding, just a very fine instrument from one of the world's best builders right here in Maine! This would be both a perfect couch guitar as well as a road-ready gigging instrument (feels solid as a rock without feeling hefty). The 2 most unique features of this "Coupe" are the cutaway combined with the 12 fret neck joint (a build feature some say is optimal), as well as the bridge placement on the shorter lower bout (also a build feature some say is optimal). All in all a terrific piece. Includes original TKL hard case (no spec sheet).
