Evo is slightly gold. You can barely notice it but if u mixed it with ur old frets u would. It would look a little odd.

Okay, I'm used to voicing the dissenting opinion around here.
I think you should get at LEAST a decade out of a set of frets. But I qualify that by agreeing to the remarks above about touch. There is NO way that a new guitar (IMO) should need fret attention that quickly unless you play with gorilla paws and an attitude. Just my .02

My friend bought a Taylor 522 about 2 months ago. The first one had a warped top. Taylor sent him a new one. He changed the strings the other day and showed me very noticeable divots in the frets already, mostly in 1st position, but also down the neck. After 2 months? This can't be normal. My Martin and G & L I have had over a decade and no divots. Should he talk to Taylor again? Would they warranty fret wear since it's only been 2 months? Never owned a Taylor, never delt with them.
