Guitar stores
Is "Anderton's" UK's version of "Guitar Center"? Or are they much better? I don't know so I hope I don't offend anyone.

Very different.
Andertons are a family business. They only have one physical store (though I think they at one point had 3 stores in the same town for different instruments) but are one of the leading online dealers in the UK. The staff are generally pretty knowledgeable. Perhaps Sweetwater would be a better analogy? Regards, Clive.

More like Elderly Instruments or one of the larger independents.
Not as big as Elderly though.
