Choosing Figured Rosewood
Hello everyone,
I've begun a BTO with Taylor and am considering going with "figured rosewood" back and sides on a GC with Cedar top. The Taylor representative chose a set and sent me a picture. I am undecided on whether I like it or not. Sometimes I think I like it, sometimes I am a little put off by the "waves" in the center of the set. I thought I might post the picture and ask for your thoughts and opinions. It does come with a fairly hefty price increase.

From what I can see, I think it's gorgeous. I'd use it.

The stated up charge is $1000, before discount. Probably around $700 when all is said and done. I think the price is pretty high, but the more I look at the wood set, the more I like it. I know it is pretty much just a personal preference, I am not expecting better tone or anything beyond cosmetics, but I would appreciate anyone else's opinion about whether they like the pattern, or not.
