Dean Exotica FM 12 string question

I recently bought a Dean Exotica FM 12 string which sounds fantastic especially tuned down a full step. My question is:
Does anyone know what strings they come with (medium or lights)?
I just had a set up and put on Elixir Polyweb lights on it but am not sure if it sounds lower in volume than before. Maybe its just the brand of strings or maybe it had mediums on it. I'm not sure. The Dean website is not helpful. Thanks for your help.
