Pickguard Art…Check it out.

Hello friends. I recently received this custom painted pickguard for my Strat from a very nice, quirky, bubbly, and fun young lady from the U.K. She’s quite the artist. I couldn’t wait to share it with you.

She not only paints pickguards but bodies, necks, as well as some canvas work. Once the pickguards are painted they receive multiple coats of clear.

I’d seen the her on Facebook and followed along for some time before reaching out. It was a wonderful experience and I’m thrilled with the result.

Thank you! I agree. She makes many styles/designs. My wife and I loved the “clean” pattern of this.

Thanks Bob. While I’m sure that it’s not for everyone, it’s a fun piece that can easily be replaced if desired. It’s not the norm for sure. But, after battling both stage 2 breast cancer and stage 4 brain cancer with my wife the last 2 years…a little color is good.

I presumed by the lack of response from those who read this thread that it wasn’t all that well received. Thats okay. It’s a personal thing, but I really like the look. Anyway, thanks for the comments.

p.s. I wish the picture posting process was easier. It’s very difficult for me to get a high res picture on here. The low res doesn’t help when trying to show details.
