Default Any with lots of Furch experience?

I just recently traded my Furch Vintage OM2 for dread. I'm very happy with the dread but miss everything about the Furch except for the neck profile which - for me - wasn't a perfect fit.

Does anyone know if Furch offers a variety of neck profiles a'la say, Martin, or are they pretty much cookie cutter?

Thanks.

They offer two shapes, a soft V and a D

I think the "soft V" as they call it is standard and it feels nothing like V to me. I think the D is uncommon and is usually a special order.

Their neck is my primary complaint. They are too skinny and modern for my tastes. I bought a couple with narrower nuts cuz it doesn't feel as skinny to me as the wider ones do. I actually like the narrower nut anyway, so win/win.

Agree completely. Same assessment and complaint.

I don't know how or when Furch changed their neck profiles over the years but I've similar similar issues with their neck profile that others have mentioned. I still have, and love, a Stonebridge jumbo from around 10 years ago, but I recently sold a 2019 Orange OM that I just didn't feel comfortable with, although it had a wonderful sound. It was as if the profile of the back of the neck didn't quite match the flatness of the fingerboard.

I have the same Furch Vintage OM2. I'm not currently playing as much as I should but I know for certain that I would rally regret it if I sold it. It's really a fantastic guitar.

Glad you’re happy with yours! I have its predecessor, the OM34sr. It’s my favourite acoustic and is never leaving our ownership!

Personally I love the neck profile of the later models. My wife has an OM23sf from around 2014 which has more of a D-shaped profile and although it is a lovely neck I do slightly prefer the soft V of mine.
