There are no main factories, at least not 3 or 4 doing the majority of all the production. It's more like a few dozen respected consistent factories that are making most of the popular American brands. Most brands will place items by model in factories, and could have the same model in several factories. It's rare to see all of one brand produced in a single factory unless they own it. It's difficult and usually protected information on what specific factories are building specific models in a brand. Not information the brands are usually comfortable sharing with even their own dealers.
