Gibson J15 neck profile.
Hi, I've been seeing rave review after rave review about these Gibbo's, so much so that I bought one, not got it yet and not tried it or any Gibson acoustic ever for that matter, thing is I cannot stand V necks, small hands see, I've read just about everything on the net about these guitars and not seen anything about neck profile! Most reviews about the neck are about how sleek and slim it is, I'm hoping for a C profile. Then I read a review were a chap says its a classic Gibson V neck profile, I didn't know Gibson's had any particular profile. I know the scale length and radius but not the profile, since a lot of the good comments were on here from owners of said guitar I was hoping you chaps could help me out. And I know the pitfalls of buying unplayed, but these guitars were calling to me, even in my sleep!!

The one I played had a C profile. Nice comfy neck like my other Gibsons.

I tried one out a few weeks back. Loved the sound and look of the guitar, not so much the neck. To me, it felt to thin.. not the nut width, but the "meat" of the neck. It felt very.. I don't know.. flat to me more than a meaty "C" shape.
That was my take on it at least.

Definitely a C profile on the one I tried, but a bit too skinny for my tastes.

The one I tried had a thin C profile. Very comfortable, I have to say.
