I so agree with the knowledgeable posters on this thread.
I so disagree with the unknowledgeable posters on this thread. Top woods with "bearclaw" may not be pleasing to the eye for some, but it in no way is a "defective or cheaper option top". Some actually prefer the look as has already been stated by many! That said, OP definitely return the guitar for a return if it is not to your liking because after all, it is your money and you should be totally satisfied with your purchase in every way. |

If you love the sound and are only worried about resale because of a defect, you should keep it. It's not defective.
If you don't like the looks, you should return it. But if you do return it, I would wait until you can play one in person. Looks aren't everything. I played one of these and was disappointed in the sound. Because so many other people are raving about it, I would assume some examples sound better than others. |
