Fellow lefty here. I would HIGHLY recommend the Martin CEO-7. Purchased one about a month ago and haven't put it down since. Great sounding and very comfortable to play.

I've played many OM/000 28 variants. I've never played an EC that wasn't stellar. Each one different but all superb. It is very different than my OM-28V but great. I can't speak for everyone who has played them and found them lacking but most people I've discussed Martin OM's with who didn't like them - didn't like any/most Martins. This can be due to many reasons but most likely different taste - not poor guitars.
