Default D18 amber tone 1933?

Do any of you own this guitar or know much about it? A local music store had one a few months ago. To this day it's the best sounding guitar I've ever played but went I went back to get it it was gone. I've played a few other d18s but they just don't compare to the amber tone one. What would make it different? I don't believe it was a golden era.

An amber tone d18 is no different than a regular d18. It's just a different color. You probably just found a good one, you should/should've bought it
