Default just when....Collings content

Just when you think all bases are covered, no need or desire for a new guitar-------->then Collings advertises this:

A 0002h T custom model...oh my heart be still!
I think this is their first 000 Traditional model. I can only imagine what it sounds like. Hope one of you fortunate players gets their hands on one of these. I would just like to hear your impressions.

I just got an email about this instrument. I wish Collings would give the price of their instruments.

I got the same email. It's drool-worthy, but I'm guessing it's going to be $8k or so.

Yup. They got me too. Thankfully these are limited to 24 guitars so hopefully they’ll sell out very soon… before I succumb to temptation.

Beautiful guitar and i LOVE the deep body option.

All this one needs to get me to buy is a regular headstock for easier restringing and a 1 11/16" nut.

There will only be 24 made. Maybe it will become a standard offering. Drop dead gorgeous!

(Just saw MHC’s comment…)

Man you REALLY have to have a world class case of GAS to cough up 8K for a guitar.

$8750. We're getting one later this week and I'm pretty sure it's already sold. Ought to sound real nice!!

I was curious about the price and called a local dealer earlier today. He gave me the $8750 and said that he had received an email about it earlier in the week and ordered 2. He said both were spoken for within a matter of minutes. Sounds like it may be unlikely to even find one of the 24 available.
