I prefer long scale, regardless of body size. I even have a long scale 12-fret 00. One size not mentioned is the L-00, which is somewhere between the 00 and the 000 body size. I have a long scale modern L-00 size (14-fret) that is really nice. There are many modern takes on the L-00, including the Collings C-10 and the Kinscherff Concert Model. I've owned two of the Collings, still own the Kinscherff.

I prefer the 000 by quite a margin. Does everything. If I were a strummer I might lean toward the OM.

Yes. All of the above. I have 00-12, 00-14, classical, 000-12, 000-14, OM, 0000 (Concert Jumbo), 14 fret Slope short-scale dread, and 14-fret long-scale dread.

My favorite is an 000-18.
