Default yamaha ll6

got an ex-demo Yamaha ll6 from guitarshop---natural finish which I like....waited long time for this :-)
Had considered RK's RD10 and cort earth 200 ans S&P/seagull...but the yammie is another type of guitar totally
I know it's bottom end price wise but it still plays well !!!

Not bottom end. The player makes the guitar not the other way around.

Guess I'm going to have to play the LL6 hard and long so that my new guitar

can become old/worn-in as quick as possible , so that it then becomes like a

"NEW" guitar again, like a new Yamaha ARE series !!!!!

Hello ToneD, congratulations on an excellent guitar! I'll bet it sounds great and I love Yamaha guitars, my FG730S has the nicest overtones and sounds so sweet, it'll be with me as long as I'm alive! Enjoy your LL6!!

Yes, while a little more work than ARE, it's a lot more fun to break it in yourself! Have a blast and enjoy having something a little different from the rest that is an outstanding value. FG730s is also an excellent guitar. I am in the market for a used one for vacations and such.

The L series Yamaha are excellent guitars. They do have their own sound, some may or may not like it. My LS6 sounds very different from my 000-15. Not bad or better, just different and I like it just fine.

Congrats on the Yamaha score! I bet its got the ARE treated top which should make a substantial differece.
I've had an LS16, and I've got an LJX16cp and a LS16A on the way.. Counting the days! Except I don't know when its coming in...
