(I realise this terrific gag will be totally lost on anyone outside the UK, or anyone under 50 inside it).

I'm the better looking one, which is hard to tell from those pictures. So which ever one you think is better looking, that's me. Mike

Why do Martin guys make remarks like that? It smacks of insecurity.

I'm not a Martin guy. The 00-28 is my win/loss in Ping Pong, and yes, I am very insecure. ...Mike

It must be because it's Monday

Great song and the parlor sounds great, although I wish he'd done less of the song in falsetto. I get kind-of a Tracy Chapman "Fast Car" vibe out of this song. Maybe it's the tempo or the key. Either way, I like it.

As an aside, I've noticed a lot of really small guitars in the hands of some really gifted players lately. I'm not a country fan, but on the TV a few days ago, I saw Hunter Hays tear up a few songs on what looked like a Martin parlor.

Yeah, I'm a fan of falsetto used sparingly to emphasize, but for Ed Sheeran that is sort of his style. Not a fan of much of his stuff, but really like this one

Never, ever pass up the opportunity to bash Martin. Particularly if you're a Taylor fan.

As for: "Why do Martin guys make remarks like that? It smacks of insecurity."

Maybe that explains the above crack from a Taylor fan. We're just all insecure, except for you of course.

Dave

One of the things that turns me off Bon Iver (the other is that the lyrics are unintelligible).

Default wait a minute folks

i own martins and taylors-does that make me..........bipolar?????

from what i heard from someone close to Sheeran-Martin surprised him with the koa back guitar.

Sheeran said it was the most expensive thing he owned-and actually that he doesn't own much else other than some cloths.

i have no way to know if any of that is true, but sounds kinda right. i think the young guy has done some good things for folks at times.

Equally humorous from any corner.

I really like Ed Sheeran's Music. It is nice to see fresh talent and a different acoustic sound. ....Mike
