Default humidification

Sometime back someone asked about guitar humidifiers. I have a collection of 15 guitars and they are all in their cases in a small room about 20x10 feet. I found the best solution was to use a tabletop humidifier with a humidity sensor. Most of them do not have the sensor so you have to do a google search but I find that the sensor works on target and you can usually up or down the humidity setting on the unit. One word of caution....if the power ever goes out the thing does not turn on automatically so if you get busy and do not enter the room the humidity can drop like a rock in a half hour here in the northeast when it gets in the single digits. You also should use a water conditioner so it doesn't get mold growing on the humidity pad. Jeff B
