Default Identify this goodwill mandolin

Hi folks!

My wife just found me this mandolin at goodwill. The sticker inside the sound hole is ripped out and I have no clue what manufacturer or model it could be/never had a mandolin. I’ll put new strings on it and polish it up as a living room instrument, but I’m curious if anyone knows what its history might be.

There's a Cremona Mandolin 1969-70 - Natural on Reverb right now that looks very similar to to your photos, but the bridge is slightly different:

There's another one here that does have an identical bridge, also a Cremona, which appears to be Czech-made.

That’s definitely the one, thank you! Impressive, me googling “oval sound hole mandolin slotted head” in all variations did not get me anywhere close.

My pleasure. Google has an "image search" function, where you can input an image and it will find similar images on the web. That's how I found it, it's a really useful function sometimes. A lot of people on the AGF use it to check "for sale" ads to make sure the images aren't ripped off from another site.

Enjoy, it's certainly a unique-looking instrument.
