Default Old Taylor-Serial # Help

Sorry-another serial # question.

My wife bought me a Taylor 410 new from a Taylor dealer sometime around the early 1990s. I've been here: https://www.taylorguitars.com/blog/t...my-guitar-made to see if I could figure out what year it was made, but the serial # on the sticker doesn't match the older serial # format on the Taylor site. The serial # is 4-1101. Below is a photo. Any help would be appreciated.

Have you asked Taylor Guitars? They're nice. They usually answer questions.

Thanks for the response, Tom. Turns out I answered my own question after my original post, but maybe this will help someone else some day searching for the same answer. I found the answer here: http://www.themusiczoo.com/blog/2010...-dating-guide/

This site says that the 410 model was introduced in 1991, and the first 400 Series numbers began with 4- starting with 0001 and ending with 4-1132 just prior to the company moving from its 5,000 sft plant in Santee, CA, to the 25,000 sft plant in El Cajon, CA. Apparently the 400 series had a different numbering system than the rest of the guitars until the move.

It looks like my guitar was made just before the move to El Cajon. 31 more 400 series guitars were made after mine in Santee.
