Default 1st acoustic NGD

I'm primarily a bass player. Screwed around with electric a few years back, but found myself listening to the bass lines more than the lead lines. Had an instro surf band that imploded, and kind of put things on the back burner for a while. Started to fool with my fiance's acoustic, and decided I wanted one of my own (didn't care for the tone on her Dean). Started searching, and finally (after a multitude of CL fools) found a Taylor 110 locally that was in my price range. Much prefer the sound to the Dean. I know it's not the greatest, but it seems to be a good start. She plays a little easier than the Dean as well. Love the bear claw in the spruce.

It looks amazing. That is some nice bear claw wood action on that top. Congrats on a fine guitar. I bet she sounds nice. I do like the Taylors I have tried. The 110 is a great guitar.

Nice. The Bear claw gives it a very cool vibe. Congratulations.

lol. Well, technically I've had a first new electric day (pre-internet), and a first new bass day. This is my first New Acoustic Guitar day. Still have my first New Acoustic Bass day, first New Banjo Day, first New Ukulele day.......
