Default All Sapele Martin 000jr

It doesn't exist and wonder what it would sound like. I have a 000jr with a spruce top, and I love it. I have an all Sapele Djr. as well. While the Djr is a very nice guitar, I favor the 000jr for comfort. And for many reasons beyond comfort, my 000jr is a wonderful guitar.

I wonder if Martin has considered developing an all Sapele version? Sign me up.

I’ve owned a Dreadnought Junior 2 (All Sapele). It’s the older version with a slightly deeper body depth. I thought it sounded great but because of my small stature and my preference for 1-11/16” nut width, I found the Dread Jr2 a tad uncomfortable, that’s why it moved on to a happy buyer.

I’ve never tried the 000-Jr but I’m not surprised that most owners say they like it. I don’t think Martin will make an all-Sapele version of it (which will most likely sound great too). Maybe you can consider the 000-RS1, it’s all-sapele and I think the nut width is 1-3/4.
