Seagull Maritime Folk vs Martin Dreadnout Jr
Narrower choice down to one of these smaller body guitars. Needs some advice on comparisons

The body shapes are different - I'd say the Folk would seem more like a small body guitar, I would think. But I haven't A/B'd these two - if I were trying to decide between them, I would definitely try to do that. Even if you can't do it at the same location, playing both within the same week would be good.
You'll get negative opinions on the richlite most likely, It would be a small minus in my opinion as well. Realistically, does it make a difference? Probably not. Playing them both to see which one you like better is the best route.

They are shaped different, but both are pretty close to 00 size.
I have not played the Maritime folk, nut have owned the Cedar topped Simon and Patrick (same company owns bot S&P and Seagull) folk. I don't own a D Jr, but if my memory isn't faulty, I would say the D Jr was the louder of the two and I also prefer it's neck profile/nut width. For a small bodied guitar, the D Jr brings a lot to the table IMO.
