Default My D-35 sounds like "Southern Cross"...

Sounds just like the Martins in the CSN song "Southern Cross."

Remarkable...Sounds like CSN is right here in my living room.

Tune the E string down to D then play A, G, D....

Well, that's certainly not a bad thing.

May as well continue with a double dropped D and try Daylight Again.

I like to tune up to EBEEBE and play "4+20" and "Find the Cost Of Freedom."

This may strike some as funny or odd but I have never heard Free Bird.

I didn't know what "Free Bird" was until recently, either, and that was because posters kept referring to it here on the AGF, as if everyone should know it. When I did listen to "Free Bird" on YouTube, I thought, oh, that song... I still don't know why anyone wants to hear this song more than once in a lifetime, but apparently some do.

It reminds some of us of when we were sloppy drunk at a local college bar, 90 degrees from too many people inside, spilling beer all over each other, standing and singing Freebird at the top of our lungs, before they kicked us all out for the night.

Ah, those were the days

It really is a great song, but it has been played to death.

Was it an hallucination or an Epiphany?

I'm not complaining...the D-35 sounds so sweet !! Every song I play on it sounds great, even Free Bird !! Me and the D-35 are getting along very well.

It's interesting on these forums, different songs get mentioned every day, which gives me ideas on what to play, or learn to play...it's bringing back lots of memories.

The Lyric pickup sounds great thru the Acoustic A20 amp. I'm a very happy camper.
