This is a very difficult situation.

I fell in love with an HD28VS-that I played-and my wife bought it for me for Christmas many years ago. For a long time it was my only guitar. As my tastes (and hearing) changed, my affection for this guitar waned. I now have two very nice OMs that I really love and play exclusively.

I won't part with the 28 because of sentimental reasons but I could easily see myself Ellington it and getting a 12 fret 28OM.

Point? A lifetime guitar at 18 seems like a tall order.
