The AGF has been filling a huge void. I think I'm getting a bit addicted to it at this point. That can't be good!

Yes,
I have had it for about 14 years, my doc wants me to see a neuro surgeon, have to have a ct scan first, guess I can't complain, I have playing since I was 12 and I am 61 now.

That is sad, Jim. I'm 58 and retired now and I need to play the guitar more than ever. I sincerely hope that you can fix the problem at least to the point where you can play again. All the best to you!

Sometimes we have to trust the doc. It might be wise in this case so you can get back into the guitar mode and play a little for us.

I trusted my GP, when she told me it's time for a tune-up in the hospital, and I'm glad I did. My problem was not what I thought. My hemoglobin was low, and my heart was too weak to keep enough oxygen in my blood. It required 2 units of plasma and 3 transfusions along with a diuretic IV to reduce the swelling in my legs.

After 5 days with no guitar to play (and no access to AGF), I decided to discharge myself (against doctor's orders) because I was feeling better, and didn't much care for the service I was getting. Playing my guitars turned out to be much better therapy than laying around in bed. Sometimes, you just have to take charge and trust your gut!

Touche! Thank you for this reminder.

Yes, guitar playing, designing, building, talking and watching are pretty good therapy for the members of this house, too.

I often tell my brother when he is sick but can't figure out how to tell a doctor at the VA his symptoms. My reply is to not ask the doctor what is wrong unless you can read your own body and tell him everything he needs to know.

I'm glad you read your body to know what makes yourself heal quicker.
