As a matter of fact I just spoke with Marty from Wildwood. What a great women and quite a storyteller. And their selection of custom Larrivees is quite amazing and seemingly very well priced. Now we really have some choices which of course is a great thing. Just makes it a little tougher.

Charlie,
Regardless of your decision. I'm glad you asked! Hope you and your son spend a lot of time with us.

I didn't read the entire thread but if no one suggested Trinity Guitars, give them a call.

You've been given excellent advice so far. Notable and Wildwood both carry a ton of Larrivee's (over 100 each). You can also get Larrivee's from Trinity Guitars in New York and Shorline Music in Colorado. Shoreline has with-out-a-doubt the best return policy you'll find anywhere. 30 days! I don't know how there prices compare as they don't post them online. They do respond to emails right away though. And L.A. Guitars always has Larrivee's in stock. Both Shoreline and Larrivee are forum sponsors. There is always used. I acquired both of my Larrivee's through the Larrivee Guitar Forum. Excellent guitars and transactions both times. Wildwood only takes cash and check. Important to know.

Where ever you get your Larrivee from you won't be disappointed with the guitar.

Enjoy!

No worries. Have to say I am amazed by the responsiveness of the forum members here. Within a day I have received invaluable advice and resources both on the forum and through PM's. I went from feeling completely overwhelmed by the thought of buying a guitar online to feeling completely comfortably with the whole process in less than 24 hours. Speaks volumes about this community and the retailers who frequent and sponsor it. Thnx to all.

If you haven't found your L-03 yet, here is a nice one at Elderly and as a 2007 it has had plenty of time to open up (assuming that is has been played).

Have not purchased anything yet. As I mentioned earlier now that we are looking online our options have really opened up. Kind of overwhelmed by all the custom L-03's they have at Wildwood. Leaning that way at least for now.
