Default Larrivee guitar purchase online

Wondering if anyone can help me out here. Looking for an acoustic guitar for my son. He has played the Larrivee L-03 series and absolutely loves it. I have never purchased something like this on line and am wondering if people have experience with Notable Guitars. Seem like really good guys but as I said I have never purchased something like this sight unseen. I would purchase locally but Notables prices seem to good to pass up. Thanks for any help.

I don't know anything about them.... See from their website they are in Great Falls, Montana. I have a nephew that lives near there. I might be able to find out something about them from him.

That would be great. I have to say the prices I have been quoted seem very very competitive.

I recently ordered one from them. Very good pricing and easy to work with, the guitar showed up perfectly set up and sounding great!

I believe they do a 3-day return policy.

We have several sponsors who sell Larrivee, why not start there?

I've bought a few from Notable. Nice folks, very friendly. Prices are great. The guitars were as advertised, and contacting them before, during, and after the sale was excellent. I would highly recommend them. And, my present Larry is my best guitar, they helped my pick it out, set up was dead on perfect.

Join the Larrivee forum. Notable has a great reputation there. It looks like the Larrivees have started adding inlays on the L03R and call it a deluxe. I have a Canadian made plain L03R and it is a great guitar. I bought in a brick and mortar store but I had them order it straight from the factory. It came beautifully set up and after 3 years it is still fantastic. Great choice

Yup, they started adding 10 series inlays made of wood instead of abalam a ways back. Personally, I like it better. Glad you liked the setup BTW Gasworker, cause a very similar feeling instrument will be on your doorstep in a few days...

Elderly also sells Larrivees. I got my D-40R from them, though I drove up from Indy to try it out and bought it while there.

My point is they're a dealer, and they do tons of mail/web/phone orders. So there's at least one more besides the Montana shop.

Thanks for all the responses. And I did join Larrivee's forum. Searching Notable turned up many favorable responses. Having said that I will also check out some of the forum sponsors as well.

Charlie,
Just heard back from my nephew and he doesn't know of them but he is a ways away in Billings so not surprising. Was a shot! But looks like you have gotten some good feed back here already.

I would say that someone mentioned the forum sponsors who sell that line. Most are eager to be competitive and as a community our sponsors tend to be a very helpful bunch. Since you have no driving commitment to this place I'd give them an opportunity to top the deal.

Going to check with forum sponsors as well. Is there any way to quickly tell which carry Larrivee?

Perhaps some others can point you to which ones do...I would have to look at each to figure it out.
