I don't have any issue with the logic of the sound port, I just don't like the look of another hole in my guitar where I can see the internals. I don't find looking down at bracing, etc appealing.

As for me, I can either "take it or leave it". The only guitar that has a "soundport" that I've ever played was the Breedlove Atlas "Solo" 350 at the local GC...and it has an interesting sound. Looking at the inside of the guitar is not too appealing, but I imagine that if I bought the guitar, and play it, I'd just end up getting used to seeing the insides anyway.
