The D-18GE is very dynamic, with that sweet mahogany tone which is clear and powerful with a strong bass register but not boomy or muddy. I should have bought one of these years ago instead of the many rosewood dreadnoughts I've owned. After my first half-hour with my new D-18GE back in May when I bought it, I said to myself, "This is how a dreadnought should sound!" I'm still saying that now.

Regards,

SpruceTop

I would say either a D-18GE or D-18V would be great.
