My F360S had what I would describe as a very thick "Epoxy" like finish. Because the guitar came so cheap I decided it would be a great candidate to refinish myself. Well stripping the finish was quite a job. While there are two very small places where you could see the veneer on the back got thin, I am so glad I did. Its sound was much improved. I put a Tru Oil finish on it and I like the satin look much better than the high gloss. The solid spruce top has aged beautifully and has that golden look. It is still my main travel guitar. Plays and sounds great. I have surprised many with it.
